May 18, 2006 Ensemble Espanol Spanish Dance Theater in residence at Northeastern Illinois University and the flamenco dance company Soul & Duende of Chicago and Madrid sponsored a night of dance and music dedicated to the artistry and integrity of Edo Sie. Artists, current and former students, friends, and family gathered to perform and to honor Edo's enduring embodiment of the art and discipline of dance.
